We have a slower fill rite pump we are currently using (13 gpm) but want to increase the flow rate by buying this. We have 30 feet of 3/4" delivery hose we are already using. Can this be stepped down to 3/4" and still be ok? Or will it need 1" hose

Using your existing 3/4" x 30 foot hose can work, however, you will not be very happy with the flow rate. Using the existing hose will reduce your flow rate with the FR319VB. You will be much happier by going up to the 1" hose.

A 1" hose is needed to maintain 35 GPM. If you drop to 3/4" hose it will slow the flow rate.

The pump itself cannot be adjusted to control the flow rate but on the automatic nozzle included with the pump there are 3 settings or positions that limit the flow rate to either 8, 24, or 30 GPM.

Thanks for your question on the flow rate of the FR319VB fuel transfer pump.
There is nothing on the pump that you can adjust to control the flow rate, however, there are three positions on the automatic nozzle included with the pump that will limit the flow rate. The lowest setting is around 8 GPM, the middle setting is around 24 GPM, and the highest setting is around 30 GPM.
