    How much pressure is needed for this nozzle to work ?

    1. This depends on flow rate, not pressure to work. The nozzle has an optimal flow rate range of 5 to 12 GPM.

    2. Thank you for your question on the 700F3144 automatic fuel nozzle.

      An automatic fuel nozzle depends on flow rate, not pressure to work. There is a max pressure for the nozzle, and that is 50 PSI, but this is only in reference to your systems pressure.

      The nozzle has an optimal flow rate range of 5 to 12 GPM (19 to 45 lpm). If your flow rate is within this range, the nozzle will perform its auto shutoff without any issues.

      The working range of the nozzle is 2½ - 14½ GPM (9 to 54 lpm). While the nozzle may trip off in this range, there is also a possibility that it may not below and above the optimal range.

      If your flow rate range is above or below the optimal range, you should watch while fueling to ensure that the nozzle does trip off when the tank is full.
