    Will this spreader attach to mower. Need something larger than the 40 lb mower spreader offered. Yard not level and can't use pull behind.

    1. If you have a 2" receiver hitch, I believe it would work fine. Be sure to use tie straps though, as the unit needs them for support. (See blue straps in the picture.)

  2. How does the spreader gate open.

    Is it manual? Or electric?

    1. The spreader gate is manual with an adjustable stop for controlling the size of the discharge opening.

    2. The spreader gate is manual on this Field Tuff spreader. There is a silver lever that you will use to open and close the gate.

  5. Will this AS-125ATV12 spreader work on a zero turn or a garden tractor with a hitch installed?

    1. While this spreader is designed for UTV's and ATV's, it would work on a garden tractor as long as the hitch has a 1 1/4in. or 2in. receiver.

  6. Will this work with "Sno-Melt" or salt?

    1. It will work with salt but you would need to make sure you clean the spreader after each use as salt is very corrosive.

  7. How many amps does the motor draw?

    1. The power draw for the motor is 3.5 amps.

  8. I have a 4 pin plug on my atv, will this plug into it or will it have to be hardwired?

    1. The included wiring harness is hard wired to the battery. It will include a connector to allow you to remove the spreader without having to remove the entire wiring harness.
