  3. Is the 1000 lb capacity "lifting" capacity?

    I have seen other winch show a pulling capacity and a lifting capacity. In need to lift a dingy about 15 feet out of the water and onto the deck of my boat. The dingy weighs about 650 lbs. Would this handle the lifting load?
