  3. Can you use this product in salt water

    1. This Endurance Firefighting System can not be used in a salt water application. The seals and impeller will deteriorate with salt water use.

  4. If a 3/4 inch diameter recycling return line to the tank was used could this system be used for remote control on and off use of a one inch hand line?

    1. The Endurance Marine Self-Priming Firefighting System has two 1 inch diameter discharge ports that could be utilized independently for a variety of uses. The Unit does not offer any "remote control" options but certainly could be manually used with standard 1 inch discharge hose.

  6. Head Max 230 feet

    is this the max feet of hose that can be attached to the pump. So you could be 230 feet from the pump and then add how far it could spray from the nozzle? My lake place sits up hill from the lake so if my first question is a yes will it pump uphill 230 feet, so I can get to the top of my like place?

    1. The Endurance Marine firefighting system has a max total head of 230 feet. So the maximum hose length would be 230 feet. The maximum suction lift is 26 feet.

  7. Can the pump continue to run even if you turn the spray valve completely off?

    If you connect a water hose to the pump and turn off the spray nozzle at the end of the water hose, will the pump recycle the water or do you have to turn the pump off so that you don't burn it up?

    1. You would not want to run the pump dry, but if you leave the spray nozzle slightly open and turn down the engine RPM you will be OK.
