  1. How to water proof the motor

    The description says use on boat lift is OK, but unit is not for out door use. Is the a way to water proof to permit the outdoor use on a boat lift?

    1. This particular winch is sold and used for boat lift applications however the manufacturer does not have any way to water proof the motor. In a lot of these boat lift applications you will find this winch used under an awning so it can be kept out of the elements associated with outdoor use.
