  1. Do the power lines to the car battery come with the winch, and what length are they? Does the emergency hand crank come with the winch?

    What is the mounting configuration (Bolt patterm) for the winch, and does a mounting bracket come with the winch?

    1. Yes. Cables to battery are included and are probably 8 feet long.. I believe it comes with the emergency crank but I have never used it.

    2. Yes, this winch comes with 25' of positive cable and 8' of ground cable. The emergency hand crank is included. This winch mounts using a 3 bolt pattern. The spacing side to side of the two front holes is 1 1/4", the rear mounting hole centered between the two front holes and is 3" behind them.

  2. I need more cable than is on the winch. If I replace the cable how much cable will fit. I need about 75 feet of cable. Do you sell replacement cable for this unit.

    1. The recommend maximum length of cable you can install on the winch is 7/32" x 90'. We do not carry this cable separately.

    1. This Dutton-Lainson Marine Electric Winch does not include a remote. It features a 3 position rotary switch.

    1. The Dutton-Lainson 3000-lb. 12V Electric Winch comes with a wiring harness that includes a 25 foot power cable to go to the battery, and an 8 foot ground wire.

  7. Does it come with a cover?, If not, is a cover available to purchase?

    1. The winch does not come with an extra cover. The housing cover can be ordered through our parts department. There is a vinyl cover for this unit that is available through the manufacturer.
