    1. This DeWalt propane heater can be operated on a 20V Max or FlexVolt battery and also includes a receptacle for use with a 120 volt extension cord.

  2. Do the batteries charge when the heater is plugged into an outlet? Did not see any chargers offered with the package

    1. The batteries would not charge when the unit is plugged into an outlet. It does not include batteries, see item #55360 for batteries that would work with the heater. The batteries will need to be charged on a Dewalt 20 volt battery charger. we offer a charger with a battery, item #81043.

  3. Does it have a thermal settings and does it re-start on its own on temp settings???

    1. This heater does not have a thermostat. You can use the dial to control the flow of gas and the BTU level.

    I would like to know just how loud the blower fan is on this heater unit. Decibel levels

    1. The manufacturer does not provide a decibel rating for the fan on this heater and would just have the CFM rating for determining sound volume. The blower on this heater is a 246 CFM blower.

    What is the estimated run time when using the 20v 5ah DB205 battery?

    1. This heater is compatible with both the DeWalt Max and FlexVolt series batteries. The Max batteries start at 1.3Ah and go up to 6.0Ah. The 1.3Ah Max battery will give this heater a run time of 2 hours. The run time on the 6.0Ah Max battery is 10 hours. The 6.0Ah FlexVolt battery will give this heater a run time of 10 hours. The run time on the 9.0Ah FlexVolt battery is 15 hours. I was not able to find a DeWalt battery with a DB205 model number. If your 5.0Ah battery is a Max series battery, it will provide around 7.5 to 8 hours of run time. All the run times listed above are approximate.
