  1. What is the parasitic power usage when the generator is not running? And in an off-grid scenario, is it possible to put it in a "sleep" mode (cut power usage)? Would the 2-wire remote start be able to wake it up from sleep mode? Power usage when asleep?

    1 answer

    1. The parasitic power draw would be minimal when not running and in the range of a few watts to less that 50 watts. The generator could not be put in a sleep mode. It is a standby generator and designed to automatically start when there is no power from the main supply. It can manually be turned off when no power is needed.
