The schedule may be reduced depending on the operating conditions and the environment. The operator's manual (included with the generator) will have complete details. See below for a rough outline of maintenance.
Daily or after 24 hours: checking the air cleaner restriction indicator, checking the air intake system for leaks, checking the operation of the operator panel, checking coolant levels, checking the cooling fan blades, checking the drive belt, checking coolant lines and radiator hoses, checking radiator air flow, checking that the coolant heater has power and is running, checking the engine oil level, checking the fuel lines and hoses, checking the charge alternator, checking all the exhaust components and checking the enclosure.
Weekly or after 50 hours: checking the operation of the Emergency Stop Button, replacing engine and oil filters and checking battery connections.
After 100 hours: replace the air cleaner
12 months or 200 hours: clean the radiator core, check the aftercooler core, check the water pump, check the engine ground, check the engine mounts, check the starting motor, check the turbocharger, check the timing belt, inspect the spark plugs, check the battery condition, check the electrical connections.
After 2 years: replace the cooling system coolant.
