Magna-Trak® 100 series LCD indicator offers a digital bar graph display, in addition to a standard audio tone, to precisely identify the target object, especially in noisy, congested areas. An additional feature is a visual reminder when batteries are low. Features simple, waterproof, push-button membrane pad operation. The Magna-Trak® 102 locator also includes a power line indicator feature. The LCD panel visually indicates that a power line is present. Caution: this feature is an aid only and is not intended for locating buried power lines.

  1. Can you explain what the "erase function" does, and how to use it please?

    1. The erase function is primarily used in locations where large metal objects, such as fences, metal buildings and vehicles, normally interfere with the desired operation of finding buried objects. To use this function, simply press this button when the interference is annoying and the metal structure is electronically erased. The audio tone returns to the “no metal” tone; the search continues and the buried object is located.
