    1. To re-string, thread the new pull rope through the compound-action pulley system on the cutting head. Secure the rope at the bottom lever arm and tie off the end at the handle.

    1. The return spring on the Corona TP 4214 tree saw and pruner sits between the upper and lower moving components of the pruner head. It secures between two built-in mounting posts or slots located on the pruner chassis and the moving blade. To replace the spring: 1. Unbolt the saw blade and backing plate if they block your access to the pruner housing. 2. Locate the main bolt and nut holding the DualLINK pruner head mechanism together. Use your wrench and a screwdriver to unscrew and remove the nut, washer, and main pivot bolt. 3, Carefully pull the pruner head or links apart to expose the internal spring. 4. Remove the broken or worn-out spring from its seating area inside the mechanism. 5. Apply a drop of oil or lubricating spray to the new spring to prevent rust and ensure smooth operation. 6. Compress the new 4200-5 spring and place it into the designated slots or seating pins between the cutting levers. 7. Realign the holes for the DualLINK mechanism and reinsert the pivot bolt. Hand-tighten the nut securely. 8. Be careful not to overtighten the nut, which can make the cutting action sticky. Test the handles to ensure the spring snaps the pruner blade back open smoothly. 9. Screw the saw blade back into place, ensuring it is snug and secure.
