    1. 4.25" these are S.A.E. if the pump pilot dia. is correct the bolt pattern will be too unless it is a custom pump

  3. How to tell right length

    Hi how do find out which length pump mounting bracket I need to buy.

    1. You need to mock up the pump you are using to the engine with the LoveJoy or chain coupler you choose. Then just measure the distance between the mounting flange on your engine and the mounting face of your pump.

    2. To determine the size of pump mounting bracket, you would measure the length of shaft on the engine and length of the shaft on the pump and add 1/2 inch for couplers.

  4. What connects the pump to the engine shaft

    1. a love-joy coupler or some other brand that allows for the very small amount of misalignment and vibration dampening

    2. The engine shaft would connect to the pump shaft with a set of two standard half couplings or a set of two heavy duty half couplings that would fit inside the mounting bracket. One half would need to match the diameter of the shaft on the engine, with the other half matching the diameter of the shaft from the pump. Couplings would need to be ordered from the same model type(example, LO95, LO99, LO100 etc). An insert called a spider box would need to go in between the two couplings and would also need to match the model numbers of the couplings themselves.

  5. Is this a 5-5/8 length?  6.5 inch circle and a 2 hole pump mount with two  4.2 inch bolt hole centers?

    1. The overall length is 6". It has a 4 3/16" bolt circle on the pump side and a 6 1/2" bolt circle on the engine side. It has a pilot hole of 3 1/4".
