  1. what is the location of the exhaust port on the unit? show me the back side.

    1. The exhaust is on the rear of the stove in the center. It is 16" from the floor. We do not have a picture of the back side.

  3. will this stove auto start and auto shut off with a wall thermostat?

    1. This stove features an ECO mode that allows the stove to turn off and on as needed. A thermostat is not needed.

  4. What is the name of the control panel that sits on top the stove

    1. The manufacturer refers to the panel as the control panel display.

  5. Does the HP21 ss pedestal unit require a hearth pad?

    1. Per the manufacturer, the stove must be installed on a noncombustible floor with proper floor protection (hearth pad), or on a masonry hearth. When a clean out T-vent is installed on the inside of a home, the floor protector must extend 2 inches beyond the rear of the T-vent.

  7. Is the stove approved for mobile home use?

    1. Installation in a mobile home should be in accordance with the manufactured home and safety standard(HUD), CFR 3280, Part 24. This stove must be vented to the outside. In addition to the standard installation instructions, the following requirements are mandatory for installation in a mobile home:
      The stove must be permanently attached to the floor.
      Stove must have an outside air source.
      Stove must be electrically grounded to the steel chassis of the mobile home, unless grounded or GFCI
      power outlets are provided.
      All vertical chimney vents must have wall supports.
      All exhaust systems must have a spark arrestor.
      Check with local building officials to see if other codes may apply.
      Structural integrity of the floor, wall and ceiling/roof must be maintained.

  8. does the pellet stoves have to be vented to the out side like wood heat stoves?.

    1. This needs to be vented outside. This has a standard 3" exhaust port.

  9. Can this stove burn corn?

    1. This pellet stove has been tested and approved for wood pellet fuel only. Burning any other type of fuel will void the warranty.

  10. Is this stove a zero clearance stove

    1. The pellet stove will require clearances of 2" from the back wall and 7" from any side walls or combustibles. If corner mounted it would require 5" from each side wall.
