This Chief G Series 21 gpm directional control valve features a tandem spring center, used for double-acting cylinders that hold in neutral. Constructed from durable cast-iron and packaged complete with an easy-grip handle, this valve handles the toughest use with an adjustable relief range of 1500 - 3625 psi, factory set to 2600 psi. Featuring 6 spools and 4-way, 3 position, tandem center, with spring center to neutral action.

  1. Is this an open or closed center valve

    1. The control valve is open center. We do not carry parts for the valve through Northern Tool. A closed center plug part number BA220913 can be purchased through our sister company Jack's Small Engine at 877-737-2787.

  2. Can the handles be turned around so the ports on opposite side of the handel?
