This Chief G Series 10 gpm directional control valve features a tandem spring center, used for double-acting cylinders that hold in neutral. Constructed from durable cast-iron and packaged complete with an easy-grip handle, this valve handles the toughest use with an adjustable relief range of 1500 - 3625 psi, factory set to 2600 psi. Featuring 4 spools and 4-way, 3 position, tandem center, with spring center to neutral action.

  1. Do these valves hold in center position

    1. The center position is a tandem spring center that holds double-acting cylinders in neutral.

  2. One of the 4 valves is not holding pressure in the neutral position.  Is there any adjustments?

    1. The relief is adjustable on this valve. It comes set at approximately 2600 PSI.  The adjustable range is approximately 1500-3625psi.

  3. I have this same exact valve but mine does not have any markings for inlet and outlet ports. So, is the inlet port on the same side as the pressure control or on the other side?

    1. The inlet port would typically be on the right side. You would want to look for the port labeled "P" for confirmation of the inlet port.
