    E.g. Max/min pressure, max/ min flow...

    1. The unloader valve on this pump is adjustable from 3500 PSI to as low as you want it, keep in mind that the life of the valve will shorten the lower you set the PSI. Please view the compatible pressure gauge item 32154.

  2. LOOKING FOR A REPLACEMENT PUMP

    I HAVE A CAT 5CP3120G1 THAT IS NOT WORKING AND I NEED TO REPLACE IT. I HAVE A 13 H.P. HONDA. NOT LOOKING FOR A $600.00 PUMP. THANKS

    1. This pump requires 15 horsepower to operate. If you used this pump on your existing engine it may not produce the full 3500 psi and 4.5 flow. My specs show that your existing pump is 3500 psi and 4 gpm. Please view suitable replacements item A1578201 and A1578151.
      Before ordering make sure that the size of the shaft on your engine matches the required shaft size for the pump that you are ordering.

    2. This pump requires 15 horsepower to operate at capacity. If you used this pump on your existing engine it may not produce the full 3500psi/4.5gpm. My specs show that your existing pump is 3500psi/4.0gpm.

      The psi. of a pump will determine how tough of a job that the washer will be able to complete and the gpm will determine how fast that work gets done.

      We have a few options that will work with the horsepower that you have available, that I will post in the links below.

      Before ordering make sure that you confirm that size of the shaft on your engine matches the required shaft size for the pump that you are ordering.

  3. How do you prime this pump?

    1 answer

    1. To purge the pump of trapped air, you would attach a water hose to the pump's inlet. Do not attach the high pressure hose yet. Turn the water on and allow water to flow through the pump and exit through the high-pressure outlet. Let the water run for 1-2 minutes to flush air pockets out. Turn the water supply off and connect the high pressure hose and spray gun, then turn the water back on.

    1. The pump will come with oil in it. It recommended to check the oil level when you receive it.

  5. What make and model is the unloader

    1. Cat Pumps model number for the unloader on this pump is 7694 and it is made in Italy for them. They do not have the make listed for it.

  6. I have a 7.5hp 3 phase electric motor that I want to match up to a pressure washer... Can I slow the pump down slightly to lower the GPM and horsepower needed?

    1. This pump requires a 15 HP minimum gas engine or an 11 HP minimum electric motor to operate. This pump should not be modified to fit the described application.

    1. The mounting bolt pattern is 125mm (4.92") x 80mm (3.15") square.
