  2. Pump Model# 3SPX30G1I Compatability

    Will the Cat pump Model# 3SPX30G1I work with a Honda gas 9.0 hp engine with a 5.0 inch bolt pattern?

    1. A Cat pump with a 5" bolt circle is unavailable. Consider Comet pump item A1578131 as a suitable replacement.

    2. This pump will not work with your engine since the bolt pattern of the pump is 6.5 inches. At the moment there is not a Cat pump with a similar output that will fit your bolt pattern. Northern does carry a similar capacity Comet pump with a 5 inch bolt pattern. Please see the recommended item below for that pump.

    1. This pump is rated for 3200 PSI and 3.0 GPM and would require a minimum 9 horsepower engine. It has a 1" diameter shaft and has a 6.5" mounting bolt circle. If your pump matches these specifications, it will work as a replacement.
