    1. The model SD42 will require 5 amps, 230 volt single phase 60 Hz power.

  2. Is the a temperature gauge where it comes on automatically

    1. The single stage thermostat model CNKJ16110 is recommended for the fan. This can be purchased through the manufacturer directly.

  3. Does a motor open the louvers or is that done by air flow ? Are the louvers made of metal ?

    1. The louvers will open automatically when the fan turns on. The louvers will close when the fan shuts off. The louvers are made of aluminum.

  4. Can this fan be used in a paint booth

    1. This exhaust fan could not be used in a paint booth. You would need to order an explosion proof exhaust fan in a paint booth. Currently, we do not carry an explosion proof fan in 42 inch and 14,900 CFM.

    1. The decibel rating is 83 decibels at 5 feet. The amperage is 5 amps at 230 volt. The fan is single speed.

    1. The flange dimensions are 47.25" x 47.25".

  8. What are the rough opening measurements and the depth of the fan housing? Could this fan be installed in the ceiling and would the fan push open the shutters?

    1. The fan rough opening measurements would be 44 3/4" squared. The depth of the housing is 6-3/4". The fan cannot be installed in a ceiling. The louvers will need to be manually opened/closed.
