    1. This would be mounted to the outside of a building, so it would just fit around the fan you have installed in the building.

    1. This hood is designed to fit a 24" diameter fan. The framing size of a 24" diameter fan this hood is designed to fit is 27" x 27", so the hood accommodates that.
