  1. will this clear my small booth?

    Occasionally I paint or clear a guitar in my small booth with filters, (my booth is approx. 6'x4,) I have been using regular box fans but for safety I want to upgrade to an explosion proof fan, will this 20" fan or the 18" size clear the booth?

    1 answer

    1. To figure out the appropriate CFM needed, take your cubic feet and divide that by how often you want to clear the room out and this resulting total will give you the CFM needed. An example would be 1000 cubit feet divided by 10 minutes which would equal 100 CFM.
      This fan provides 3,640 CFM which is more than enough and the 18 inch fan would also work just fine to keep the booth clear of fumes.
