  1. Can the support pipe that goes from the ceiling to the fan be shortened?

    1. It is not recommended to modify the down rod. Modifications to the down rod will void the manufacture's warranty.

  2. Can this fan be installed and work properly in a residential home?  I noticed it is a DC motor.  Is that compatible with typical residential wiring?

    1. The fan can be installed in a residential application. You will connect the green wire to the ground green household wire or bare copper wire. The white wire will connect to the white household wire. The black will connect to the black household wire.

    1. The fan is operated by a wall mounted speed control only. There is not a pull cord available.
