  2. Angle To open

    I have some latches where the pull handle opens 90 degrees from the mounting surface. This is undesirable because your hand slips off the handle when trying to pull it. I have seen others that open to a 45. I was wondering how much these opened before the latch stops.

  3. If I ordered 6 of these will they be keyed alike? Also If I ordered some replacement locks along with it will they be keyed the same as the latches? Items #33230 and Item #23050.

    1. These paddle latches and replacement locks would not be keyed alike.

  4. What does it mean by bline studs and gasket?

    1. The lock is lined with a gasket for more sturdy installation and to keep water out. The studs to install it and the gasket are hidden behind the latch.

    1. This paddle latch itself is stainless steel. The locking cylinder, mounting hardware, and keys are not stainless steel.

    1. The distance to the center of the striker is 1 1/4".

  7. Are the dimensions given the recess size, or the flange to flange size?

    1. This Buyers paddle latch flange dimensions are 4.25 inches wide, and 5.5 inches high.

      The recessed dimensions are 3.688 inches wide, 4.625 inches high, and 2 inches deep.
