The Buyers Products Black Aluminum Truck Rack fits full-sized pick-up trucks with long and short beds. Its over-cab design allows the rack to store ladders and other long objects securely while freeing up space in the bed.   1. would these 76" racks be able to be mounted on a 72" wide bed, and can the stops on the racks be moved outside of the upright joining piece?

    1. The max bed width these can be installed on is 66 inches. The stops could be installed on the outside of the upright as long as there is enough room to install them safely.
