  1. does the bulldog adjustable coupler activate the hydrolic brakes on the trailer

    1. No, it has nothing to do with the trailer brakes. My brakes are electric.

    2. The Bulldog coupler would not activate the brakes on the trailer. This coupler just locks the trailer to the hitch ball and when used with the channel #12874 or 12875 allows you to position it to keep the trailer level behind your vehicle.
