  4. how hard is it to open the jaws and place on the tree ? I have arteritis in my hands and wonder it I have the strength to open the jaws. Is the spring being stretched when the jaws are being open? Not sure how much tension the spring has.

    1. The jaws are not difficult to open. The spring stretches when the jaws are open. The spring helps the jaws start the initial grip instead of moving freely. The jaws then tighten down harder as the Brush Grubber is pulled.

    Hello- Could this item also be used as a pallet grabber, to
    off-load shipping pallets? (i.e. LTL freight)
    What is the torque of that spring control?

    1. This brush grubber is not designed nor recommended to be used as a pallet grabber. There is not a torque rating for the spring control.
