    3. NO. ITS A LITTLE TRICKY, AT FIRST, BUT ONE PERSON CAN DO IT, WITH NO TROUBLE

    4. One person can use it but you'll have to climb on and off the tractor many times. It's far easier with two as long as the person handling the tool is strong. It's heavy.

    1. Chain is not included. I have many chains that I use with it, depending on what lengths I need. I use 3/8 to 1/2 inch chain link in various lengths.

    5. no chain included. I use about 15' of 1/4" chain. It needs a BIG hook to go on the D-ring.

    6. NO, You must supply your own chain. It should be rated to handle at least twice the amount of force you can apply. So if using a car, truck or farm tractor, that means a very strong chain. I got a nice medium duty chain from a local farm store that works well and it is not too cumbersome like the big chains used for heavy machinery. DO NOT use hardware store light duty chain for obvious safety reasons.

    7. No it is not and you will need a heavy duty short chain, I recommend buying the chain Brush Grubber sells ... I just did.

    8. The chain is not included. I bought the one that is recommended because it has a nice loop that slips right over my hitch.

    9. The chain is not included. You will need your own chain, which should be a transport grade chain, load rated. 3/8" chain is likely the best size, in my opinion, and I always put a grab hook on one end and a slip hook on the other end. The length of your chain will depend upon how close you can get to the stump you have to pull with your machine, abut a chain that is too long is too heavy, so two chains about 12' long each is not bad.

    Some of the pictures show a spring and some pictures do not show a spring, so I am confused.

  4. Can this unit be used with a 4x4 pick up?

    I don't own a small tractor or UTV, but both my son and I have V-8 powered 4x4 pick ups.....His is a mid 2000's Toyota Tacoma, w/automatic trans, mine is a late 90's Dodge ram 1500, w/ std trans.......Any suggestions adice would be much appreciated.

    1. I would not recommend using this with a pick up truck. I have done many things with my 4x4 trucks, but this really needs a tractor.

    2. The Brush Grubber Xtreme is not rated for use with a pickup truck. If the product is used with a truck, it would void the manufacturer's warranty. Please view my recommendations below to two Brush Grubbers that can be used with a pickup truck.

  5. Has anyone used this to clear weesatche brush? If so, what results did you get?

    1. As long as the brush that you are removing is not shallow rooted and the stump diameter is between 1 1/2 inches to 5 inches in diameter it will work just fine.
