The innovative 3D shape, with over 12 razor-sharp tips per star, is tested to be two times stronger than flat tines and resists bending, even in compacted soil. Each 8in. diameter star also rotates independently and continues revolving during tractor turns ensuring no area goes without aeration. The solid steel tine shaft and heavy-duty nylon spacers provide years of dependability so you get a green, healthy lawn season after season. A fully-enclosed, 14-gauge steel weight tray provides a stable platform for up to 150 lbs. of additional weight, maximizing penetration in hard soil. The transport aerator comes standard with never-flat transport wheels -- perfect for crossing driveways, sidewalks, gravel paths, etc. Simply reach behind you and pull the lever to easily engage the wheels instead of the tines.
