  3. Please give engine mounting bolt size(s)

    1. The mounting bolt size is not provided by Briggs & Stratton.  It would have 4 mounting holes to mount the engine to the equipment.  The four mounting holes are cast holes meaning they are not threaded from the factory.  Equipment manufacturers will use either a through bolt with a nut or use a self-tapping bolt designed to go into the aluminum material.  You would reuse the mounting bolts from the equipment, the previous engine was on.

  4. How to check oil

    1. Looking at the top of the engine, the dip stick is located to the front right of the engine. Remove the dip stick and wipe with a clean cloth. Install and tighten the dipstick. Remove the dipstick and check the oil level. The correct oil level is at the top of the full indicator. If the oil level is low, slowly add oil into the engine oil fill with a clean funnel. Be sure not to over fill. After adding the oil, wait one minute and recheck the oil level. Reinstall and tighten the dipstick.

    1. A low oil sensor is not available for this engine model.

  8. Were do I find the model number on my engine

    1. The model numbers on the engines can be in different places. Each engine may be different. They can be located on the valve cover, the blower housing of the cylinder block.

  9. Is the end of the shaft on this drilled and tapped to accept a bolt?

    1. The shaft for this is tapped and threaded, 7/16"-20.

  10. Where can you get a muffler for this engine>

    1. There are multiple muffler options based on how it is mounted. It is best to contact the manufacturer for a muffler.
