    1. Due to government regulations, engines can only be rated by the cc rating as a true rating of the power.

  2. sizing hydraulic system

    Ihave a 135o seris B&S horz. shaft motor. Building a wood splitter and trying to size hydraulic pump. What is HP rating of the B&S ? what size pump for 6" dia piston w/2" rod?

    1. The 305 cc is approximately equal to an 8 HP engine. The pump #1056 would be fine for this engine and your 6" piston.
