  1. Is this valve free flow in opposite direction ?

    1. This valve does not have free reverse flow. This valve can be easily changed to where it can, by ordering the C9A-C compensator spool with the manufacturer.

  2. Can this valve be set to adjust based on PSI vs flow rate?

    1. The unit would need a controller to set the flow. Northern Tool does sell item #20169 or model EC-12-02. The controller will allow the valve to operate at an adjustable range of 0-20 GPM.

  3. What is the input signal to the control valve? And does it have a full range of adjustment from 0-20 GPM?

    1. This control valve requires a control box, item 20168 or item 20169, to operate. Both controllers have a modulated output and the current will vary linearly with the position of the potentiometer knob, but the maximum current output of these controllers is 1 amp. This means the input of this valve is a maximum of 1 amp with a frequency of 100 Hz. These controllers will allow the valve to operate at a full range of 0-20 GPM.
