Product Summary

Hopkins Towing Solutions LED low-profile submersible trailer light kit is designed to conform to applicable US FMVSS108 and Canadian CMVSS safety standards for trailers over and under 80in. wide. The drivers side features a combination of 7-function (stop/tail/turn/side marker/reflector marker/reflector stop/rear license plate). The passenger side has the same functions as the drivers side with the exceptions of the license plate light. This kit is not only ideal for boat trailers, but for any utility, camping, snowmobile, and motorcycle trailer where LED lights are desired. The life of an LED trailer light far exceeds traditional incandescent trailer lights. Lenses are sonically sealed to provide protection from moisture and corrosion. Additionally, all electronics are potted with water resistant epoxy for a second layer of defense. These stop/tail/turn lights are individually replaceable with Blazer model numbers C7288TM and C7298TM. The kit includes 2 submersible stop/tail/turn lights, wire harness, license plate bracket, mounting hardware, and trilingual instructions, everything needed for easy installation and DOT compliance.

  1. How many LED bulbs in each light

    In ad you say 10 but I count 12 on back of each light. Also is there LED for the side marker/running light?

    1. This light kit contains a left and right light, each light has 10 rear facing LEDs. There are 2 additional LEDs on each light that are for the clearance and side markers. The left light also features two LEDs that act as a license plate light.

    2. Blazer International Trailer lights are manufactured to meet all DOT requirements. The LED Trailer Light Kit, Model # C7280, contains a left and right light, each having 10 rear-facing LEDs, that perform stop/tail/turn functions, with 2 additional LEDs that act as a clearance and side marker (DOT req'd). The left light also has an additional two white LEDs that act as a license plate light (DOT req'd).

  2. HOW LONG IS THE WIRING HARNESS

    1. The wiring harnes is very long indeed. Long enough to reach the front of the Trailer Hitch. However, I didn't need to use the included wiring harnes, but instead used the existing trailer wiring harness that was already in the Trailer, and just spliced the Trailer Light wires into the existing Wiring Harness. It was very easy to do, and has worked great for these past many months.

    1. There is a side clearance light at the end of the Tail Light Fixture that works well. However, the kit does not come with the small yellow market lights that are typically mounted on the front of the trailer. This is a tail light kit only.

    I need details on how these lights are mounted. Are they bolt on? one bolt or two? bolt spacing? Including a picture in th product description showing the rear of the light fixture with the mounting method would be helpful.

    1. The Blazer LED trailer lights are bolt on. They require 2 bolts per light and the bolt spacing is 2" on center.

    1. The dimension of the light is 7.78"L x 2-7/8" W x 2-3/4"D. The wiring harness is not considered a Y harness.
