This Hopkins Towing Solutions low-profile trailer light kit is designed to conform to applicable US FMVSS108 and Canadian CMVSS safety standards for trailers over and under 80in. wide and is the preferred style for OEM boat trailers. The lamps feature a waterproof, sealed capsule preventing premature bulb failure and corrosion. The kit includes two submersible stop/tail/turn lights (B80/B90), a 20ft. wire harness, license plate bracket, mounting hardware, and trilingual instructions -- everything needed for easy installation and DOT compliance.

  1. How do you change the bulbs when they burn out since it is a sealed unit

    1. You can replace the bulbs by removing the 4 screws on the reflective cover, then unscrew the egg shaped inside cover surrounding the bulb itself. Slowly wiggle out the bulb from its socket and push in a new (type 2056) bulb then put the plates back in place with screws and tighten.

  3. Do the lights function as tail lights, blinker lights and brake lights? Does it include a light for the license plate?

    1. This set does include stop, turn and tail lights. It does have a light for the license plate.

    1. Being the Tiger Accessory Light Kit is a submersible sealed light, a replacement lens is not available for the unit.

    1. The dimension of one of the lights in the Tiger Accessory Low-Profile Light kit is 2 7/8" H x 7 7/8" L. The light does also have a red lens on the side of the unit.
