When you burn firewood, you want to get the most out of it, so you’re not burning more than you absolutely need to. That’s where heat reclaimers come in handy. They’re designed to slow down exhaust as it exits through the chimney, helping you get a few extra degrees out of any compatible heating stove.

One of the bestsellers here is a 6in. bottom crimp heat reclaimer expressly for wood burning appliances. This unit reclaims up to 30% of lost heat from your heating appliance and distributes it into your home using only 0.31 amp of power, roughly equivalent to a 40 Watt light bulb. This heat reclaimer is designed for heating appliances with inside flue temperatures exceeding 350° and surface temperatures of the single wall pipe exceeding 280°. A toggle switch allows the 225 CFM fan to operate in 2 modes, either run continuously or a via a pre-set thermostat that automatically turns the blower fan on when the casing reaches 150° and off at 120°. This heat reclaimer is easy to install and must be installed between 12 and 24 inches from the appliance flue outlet using a single wall connector pipe.

Another type of heat reclaimer is a 6in. unit that reclaims lost flue heat and circulates warm air back into a room, improving efficiency of older stoves and furnaces. This unit includes 5 heat exchanger tubes to capture heat. This reclaimer is also fully sealed from flue gasses. The blower on this reclaimer is an ultra-quiet 110 CFM unit.
