  1. Will this pressure washer run by gravity fed water from a tank?

    1. Cat Pump recommends 2X the flow on a booster pump. Example: 3.5 gpm Cat Pump means a 7 gpm booster. The booster psi does not need to exceed 40 psi, but will work with less.
      The pump can be fed by gravity, but, this means the tank outlet and inlet hose to the pump cannot be below tha inlet port on the pump.

    2. An insufficient water supply will damage your pump. Make sure the water supply is steady and is 20% over the rated flow of the pump. You will need a minimum flow rate of 3.6 GPM coming into the inlet. I recommend item 2684061 for a 12 Volt on-demand pump for your inlet supply.

  2. The owner's manual says the pressure can be reduced by turning the unloader valve on the pump. Is there a gauge that I can install to determine the psi after the pressure is reduced?

  3. I have this pressure washer and need to replace the tires what is the axle bore size for the wheels. I believe it is 5/8 just need confirm that is correct .

  5. Hello, The description says that this unit has adjustable pressure capability. The max pressure would be 3600 PSI. Do you know what the minimum pressure that this unit is capable of? Thank you

    1. It is best to use a larger orifice nozzle to lower the pressure, but the unloader is adjustable and can get down to about 500 PSI.

  6. Which surface cleaner works best with this?

    1. Any surface cleaner with requirements that falls within the pressure and flow rate ratings of this pressure washer would work. The pressure may need to be adjusted down using the unloader valve for use with a surface cleaner. Some possible options are item #47892, #49430, and #49433

  8. What kind of engine oil 30 weight what detergent non detergent and how much.

    1. SAE 10W-30 oil is recommended for the engine. Engine oil capacity is 1.1L, or 1.2 U.S. quart. SAE 30 Non-Detergent Oil or Cat Pump Oil (Item #22158) is recommended for the pressure washer pump. Pump capacity is 10.2oz.
