The WorkTunes has a convenient Voice Assist command that tells you what radio station you are on without having to remove headphones from your ears. Voice Assist will also guide you through the radio stations and helps you program new ones. It also notifies you when your battery life is low. Easy-to-use auto scanning allows you to quickly find and save up to 50 of your favorite AM/FM radio stations.

  3. how many consecutive hours does this last on one set of batteries?

    1. I have the old kind, and I only use them to listen to mp3s, but I have never had to change the batteries. Not even sure they need batteries for how I use them.

    2. One set of Duracell batteries lasted me 3 months at about 3-6 hrs a week.

    5. I pressurewash for a living so I use mine 5-7 hours a day avg. about 3 days a week during summer, in 2011, I used 4 sets of batteries from March to Nov. however 1 set was old (From gps). Also used on 2, 8 hour bush hogging jobs, made job go by much quicker (and was able to hear my wife when I got home). Absolutely would recommend these to anyone.
      Use good batteries like Energizer or Duricell for better life.

    6. My radio will last the entire summer mowing season @ 3 hours per use. So 30 plus hours of use before batteries need replaced.

    1. Yes they do. I've used this when mowing grass for hours and they do warn that they are shutting down after being on for a certain amount of time. Can't remember exactly how long it takes, but it does happen..

    1. It works in a medium sized building (20,000 sq ft) in the country just fine. Radio stations are 4o miles away as the crow flies.
