  2. Does this unit include the FM Multiplex decoder circuitry to deliver STEREO FM? My current 3M unit does, and I may purchase this DeWalt as a backup.

    1. The hearing protector would have a stereo input jack, but does not have FM multiplex decoder circuity.

  3. Can I plug this unit into a wall plug with an extension cord?

  4. When the 3.5mm auxilary plug is plugged in does it shut off the installed radio sound? I am a volunteer firefighter and carry a pager with a 3.5mm head phone jack, I would like to listen to the radio BUT if the pager goes off I would like to hear it.

    1. When the auxiliary plug is used it will not cut out the radio.

  5. Does this headset get AM stations well. I find that with my present, now defunked ones, I have to turn my head as I am cutting the lawn to receive the station in various locations on the property.

    1. The unit can be used for AM stations. Signal quality can vary based on the channel and location.

  6. How do I set 8 preset radio stations?

    1. The first step will be to choose the station that you are wanting to preset. Step two will be to press and hold the station memory button. Once you have done these two steps, it will preset up to eight stations.

  7. are the ear foam muffs replaceable, others I've had the muff covering deteriorates, rips and the foam becomes satureted with sweat
