    This is a chlorine solution added to well water.

    1. This pump is not recommended to be used with Sodium Hypochlorite 12.5% solution. Northern Tool would not carry a Sodium Hypochlorite solution pump at this time.

    1. The Zee Line rotary pump can not be used for pumping gasoline.

  9. will this unit hold up pumping methenol and acetione in an unheated outdoor storage shed in a northern winter climate (Montana, currently -5 F) ?

    1. The pump can be used with methanol but is not recommended for acetone. In regards to outdoor storage, the pump is constructed of heavy plastic but it could become brittle and possibly crack in severely cold conditions.

  10. Will it work in a 5-gallon bucket?

    1. The rotary pump is rated for barrels starting at 15 gallons and going up to 55 gallon.
