The Yost 6D 6in. heavy-duty drill press vise mounts to a drill press bench to provide clamping action for drilling applications; is qualified as National Stock Number (NSN) 3460-00-293-0272; meets Federal Specification GGG-V-443-A Type I, Class 2 Style C. The stationary base creates a firm foundation when mounted to a drill press bench. The jaws are made of hardened steel and can be replaced when worn. The stationary jaw has a horizontal and vertical V-groove for enhanced grip of circular stock. The jaws draw closer together or farther apart by turning the vise handle clockwise or counterclockwise. The ductile iron body is durable and strong for extended life and precision.
