  3. is it easy to bend different diameters on 1/2" tubing with this tool?

    1. The manual tube and pipe bender will bend 3/4" - 2" round tubing with an 1/8" wall thickness and 1/2"-1 1/2" square tubing with an 1/8" wall thickness. All dies are sold separately.

    1. This manual tube and pipe bender does not have the option to add a kit which would convert it to a hydraulic bender.

    1. This Woodward Fab Bender can be used to bend up 2 inch outer diameter with a maximum wall thickness of .134 inches with a 1 inch by 6 inch square die.

  6. Are the tube dies measured in Inside Diameter or Outside Diameter?

    If I want to bend schedule 40- 1" pipe, would I order the 1" tube die even though the pipe's outside diameter is significantly larger than 1"?
    Are square tube dies measured the same as round tube dies (ID vs OD)?

    1. The tube dies are measured from the outside diameter. To bend 1" pipe you would need to purchase a 1" pipe die from the manufacturer directly.

  7. Can this bender do 1.125" OD 6061-T6 Al (.059 & .083 walls)

    I need a radius greater than 4" - can I get larger dies? Or pad/shim larger diameter & radius dies to accommodate 1.125"OD tube in a 6" radius 1-1/2" OD die?

    1. Northern Tool offers one die made for bending a 1 inch square aluminum tube. It has a 6 inch radius and the item number is 426620.

    1. The Woodward Fab Tube and Pipe Bender would be capable of that type of bend but the manufacturer does not offer a 1 3/8 inch size die.
