  1. does the transmitter have to be reprogrammed if the car battery is disconected. If yes, how is this accomplished?

    1. The transmitter will need to be programmed the first time it is being used and also if it is electrically disconnected from the vehicle's power source or if you change the transmitter. Directions will be listed in the product manual that is on our website for installing it.

  2. Will the RC10 remote transmitter loose its program if the automobile battery is disconnected?

    1. The transmitter will need to be programmed if the battery/power source is disconnected.

  3. Can this unit be used to start the car remotely. Will this unit blockout someone trying pullout ignition wires and jump start the car, with the unit in the off position?  Thank you, Henry I have a classic car, a 1976 Ford that I’m trying to protect.

    1. This unit is not designed to be used for a starting application or to prevent a vehicle from being started.
