    1. The volume on the alarm is not adjustable. However, the alarm gets louder and louder (up to 95 dbs) until you shut if off.

    1. The wireless remote alarm is not waterproof and not intended for outdoor use.

  3. What is the maximum operating range of this alarm?

    Also, there appears to be two switches on the transmitting end. Can one of these be used to toggle the alarm sound on/off?

    1. The maximum transmission distance from the gate alarm to the wireless remote alarm is 250 ft. Transmitting through walls, metal doors, metal framed windows, thick concrete, stone or brick may reduce the transmission range. To optimize the transmission distance the wireless remote alarm should be positioned in a location that minimizes these obstructions. The buttons are decibel level buttons. You cannot turn the alarm off, but if the buttons are pressed at the same time within 5 seconds of gate opening the decibel level will not elevate.
