Unlike most vises that have a fixed center nut, the Tradesman round channel vise nut is anchored at the rear. This rear-anchored nut provides straight line pull and even pressure, resulting in greater durability. This 5 1/2in. jaw width heavy-duty vise is ideal for tradesmen, automotive applications, metal fabrication, service/MRO, utility work, and construction sites. Features a double lockdown, replaceable jaw with reversible inserts, and 360° swivel base. Enclosed spindle construction. Incredible clamping power! Large anvil. 60,000 PSI ductile iron body, jaw and base are virtually indestructible.
