This Wilton Shop Bench Vise has heavy-duty castings with a 30,000 PSI ductile iron body built for rugged use and extended life. Has the capability of handling pipe as well as mounting to the bench with 4 mounting posts, providing more stability and a secure hold. 360° swivel base vise includes 2 lockdowns to secure your work position when utilizing the swivel. Pipe jaws assist in bending, cutting and holding materials. An anvil is attached for pounding. Made with cast iron channel for strength and durability. Ideal for general purpose, light tradesman, utility and service, and automotive applications.

    1. The maximum jaw opening of this vise is 6". The center of the jaw to the bottom of the opening is considered the throat depth, which is 3 1/2". The pipe jaws can hold pipes with diameters ranging from 5/8" to 2".

    What is the mounting flange hole separation? Replacing a vise and don't want to make new holes in the bench.

    1. Wilton does not recommend using existing mounting holes because it can weaken the vise but the vise has a 4 bolt mounting pattern and 9/16 inch diameter holes. The vise has a 5.35 inch mounting pattern.
