    3. No,the other higher one is and probably is better if you need to get to the back of you vehicle.This I noticed after buying this one.It will get in the way if you keep it on!!!

    5. No it does not but it is pretty light so it is easy to remove when needed. It does sit close to the bumper too so you cant squeeze in between the basket and bumper to access truck

  2. Anybody out there try one of these on an ATV?

    1. Not yet, but most ATV's are lower to the ground or have a lower clearance when going up or down hills. There is another rack made that has a S-type in the hitch section that raises the rack up a few inches, that might be better for ATV's.

    2. Although this is intended for use with automobiles, it can be used with an ATV. Be sure whatever you are using has the proper 2" receiver tube(smaller vehicles or ATVs sometimes use 1-1/4") and can handle the weight capacity of whatever you intend to haul.

  3. Is this available with a small receiver?

    1. It is only available in the 2". However, there are adapters available for the smaller 1 1/4" hitch. It is listed below.

    What is the weight and the length center of the hitch pin to the end of the bumper

    1. The unit weighs 24 pounds and it is 5 1/2" from the pin hole to the rack.

  5. adaptor

    Can I use this with a 1 1/4 inch tube if I have the 2 " adaptor and stay safe and secure ?

    1. This cargo carrier can be attached to a 1-1/4" receiver using an adapter. It's necessary to check and not exceed the tongue weight capacity of your vehicle's 1-1/4" receiver as well as the hitch adapter you're using as this cargo carrier might have a higher weight capacity(500 lbs). Click the link below to view a compatible hitch adapter that may suit your application. It has a max tongue weight capacity of 300 lbs.

    Are the 45 1/2 x 21 1/2 dimension for the inside of the railing or the out side of the railing ?
