  1. will this fit the 40lb tank?

    1. In the photos, it shows it on a 20 lb and a 100 lb tank! Never even heard of these until I saw this one. A neighbor has a place in the mountains and the temp is often in the teens, he has never had any issues with his propane!

    2. This is specifically designed to fit a 20 lbs. cylinder. At this time, Northern Tool does not offer a heater for a 40 lbs. cylinder.

    1. The Cylinder Heater can be used outdoors. It is weather resistant to hold up against rain and snow.

    1. This is specifically designed to fit a 20 lb. cylinder. At this time, Northern Tool does not offer a heater for a 30 lb. cylinder.

  4. Would this work on a smaller diameter tank? Would it be okay for the wrap to overlap a bit, or would that be dangerous?

    1. It is not recommended to use the gas cylinder heater with a smaller diameter. Any overlap could create a hot spot and that would be dangerous.

    1. This cylinder heater could be used in the winter on the lake provided you have 120 volt power available that is capable of supplying 120 watts for the duration of use.
