  1. What is the set point temperature range?

    1 answer

    1. The drum heater has a range of 135 to 155 degrees F. When plugged in it will maintain a 145 degree F temperature. It will internally cycle on and off.

  2. Could this be used to keep a well water pressure tank from freezing? Also does the thermostat go low enough as to just keep the water from freezing?

    1. The heating blanket can be used with a well water pressure tank to keep the water from freezing. The internal fixed blanket thermostat cycles on and off automatically. The blanket is safe to leave on over night or for extended periods of time.

  3. i need to cut o hole in the top of the blanket. will this affect its operation?

    1. It would not be recommended to cut a hole in the blanket. It may cause damage to the internal wiring.

  4. It says, "compatible with poly drums." Why wouldn't this be compatible with metal drums as well?

    1. The drum heater can be used on metal drums. It is just stating that it is also safe to use on poly drums.
