The Viair 450P 12 Volt Automatic Portable Tire Inflator Air Compressor is a large, powerful portable tire inflator with automatic shutoff function. Portable compressors with automatic shutoff are handy when moving from tire to tire, and when checking tire pressure in the middle of a tire fill. A typical portable compressor must be turned off between tire fills, and anytime you want to check tire pressure. Automatic portables will save you time and effort to get tires inflated quickly. This 100% duty cycle unit is capable of pressures up to 150 PSI and can be operated for up to 40 minutes at a time before needing to be rested. The 450P-Automatic comes with a close-ended gas station-style air gun for added convenience.

    1. It will take approximately 20-40 seconds depending on the tire size.

    1. This can be used for larger tires. Depending on the starting pressure and desired pressure of the tire additional time and pump cooling time may be needed to fully fill a larger tire.

    1. The compressor produces 1.8 CFM at 0 PSI, 0.97 CFM at 90 PSI and 0.72 at 150 PSI.

  4. Are you able to pump a semi-truck tire 110 PSI with this product? Am I able to use this product as a back up?

    1. This inflator can be used as a backup, and will fill semi-truck tires.

    1. A regulator can be added to the compressor for RV winterizing. The manufacturer part number for this regulator kit is part #90145. Northern Tool does not currently sell this kit.
