Product Summary

The Vestil Positive Lock Plate Clamps grip a sheet until the release ring is pulled. The serrated gripper is constructed of hardened steel. Forged head and gear. Safety factor is 2 to 1. Durable blue paint finish. Designed to meet ASME B30.20 standards. Not designed for use on stainless steel or aluminum plates. For use with materials with a surface hardness to 30 RC (300 HB). Available in 2,000-lb., 4,000-lb. or 6,000-lb. capacity models.

  1. Vertical Lift?

    Will this device lift a steel I beam that weighs 2800lbs safely from the end so it can be lifted and lowered into a hole.

    1. No. It only lifts 2000 pounds.

  2. Why will this not pick up a stainless steel plate

    I do not understand why this will not pick up a stainless Steel plate? This is not a magnet style, but a mechanical clamp

    1. Stainless steel does not have a hard enough surface. The clamp would mark up the steel.
