  1. 12Ft. track of what grade and size is required?

    1. It would have a track length of 12ft and would require a beam with a wide flange (W) or S-type I-beam. The track must have a flange width between 2 1/2" and 8" and must be rated to support a minimum of 2,000 lbs plus the weight of the hoist and trolley. The grade would be A992 for standard steel beams.

  2. Does this item come with the chain hoist and beam trolley or just the trolley? Chain hoist in picture states it's rated for 1000 lbs. however ad lists it as 2000 lbs.

    1. This is a low headroom chain hoist which includes the push trolley. It has a 10 foot lift. The uniform capacity of this model, LOW-2P, is 2,000 lbs.

  3. How narrow of a beam and what's the minimum height of the beam

    1. The beam will fit at beam width of 2 1/2" to 8 5/8". There is no minimum beam height listed.

  4. How wide does it open up.  Will it fit a 10” beam

    1. The maximum the trolley will open is 8 5/8", it would not fit a 10" beam.
